Nighttime
I step into the silent night. A world of mystery and grace. I leave the lights which flash so bright. And fade into the shadows. Follow me, down a darkened path. Swirling with mist. The moon hides, in the nighttime clouds. Its light not for us to see. Will you come with me, down this darkened path, Where dangers may lurk? Should we lose ourselves, alone in this cold, midnight place? Or will we return home, where light surrounds us? Frightened by the darkness of the night. |
Different Faces
A somber face in the mirror. Silently stares at me. Watching me with bright large eyes. It peers into my soul. A melancholy face in the water. Reflects my every move. Ripples cross the face in the water. Until it fades away. A mournful face in the window. Understands my moods. The face is cold. Its time is short. And now, it's disappeared. |
